Идентификация, измерение и учет затрат и выгод от экономической деятельности в социальном разрезе. Он отражает позитивное и негативное влияние (социальные выгоды или затраты) деятельности предприятия на финансовое, физическое и эмоциональное состояние всех тех, кто непосредственно имеет дело с предприятием (то есть инвесторов, работников, поставщиков, заказчиков или клиентов), а также всех, чье состояние зависит от деятельности предприятия в силу его географической близости и других аналогичных причин.
